The European Science Journalist of the Year award recognises and promotes excellence and innovation in science journalism across Europe.
Submissions should include a nomination letter from the association putting their candidate forward as well as three pieces of journalistic work written in or translated into English.
The award is also open to individuals working in Europe whose work has been published in European media.
When submitting as an individual applicants from countries without an association should first become an associate member of EFSJ (membership fee 5 euros per year) and pay a submission fee (10 euros). To do so contact info@efsj.eu to make a payment before submitting. Applicants from countries that have an association have to be members of that local association to apply.
